-- Jive, the Social Business Software leader, today congratulated Jive
customer Claire Flanagan, Senior Manager, Knowledge Program and
Enterprise Social Collaboration, at Computer Sciences Corporation for
being awarded the 2.0 Adoption Council's "Internal Evangelist of the
Year."
-- The 2.0 Adoption Council awarded its inaugural, prestigious "Internal
Evangelist of the Year" award on November 3 at the Enterprise 2.0
Conference in San Francisco. According to the 2.0 Adoption Council,
the award winner exemplifies, "the tenacity, courage, and sheer energy
it takes to inspire a large enterprise to embrace the principles and
practices of Enterprise 2.0." The award was presented to Flanagan by
Andrew McAfee, widely regarded as the "father" of the enterprise 2.0
movement.
-- Last week at the JiveWorld Conference in San Francisco, Flanagan
accepted a Jive Social Business Software (SBS) Award on behalf of CSC,
a global leader in providing technology-enabled solutions and
services. CSC received the Community Adoption Award for the launch of
its internal community "C3: Connect. Communicate. Collaborate." Under
Flanagan's leadership, C3 enjoyed viral success in only 20 weeks,
achieving 25,000 registered users, creating over 2,000 new groups, and
generating over 1 million page views a month.

-- "Internal Evangelists are the true heroes of the Enterprise 2.0
revolution, preaching the principles of the 2.0 movement, building the
C-level business cases, and driving adoption across large
enterprises," said Susan Scrupski, founder of the 2.0 Adoption
Council. "Claire embodies the spirit of the Internal Evangelist and
will help inspire other evangelists who are looking to drive seismic
change in their enterprises. To quote one of her colleagues, 'I
believe Claire's program marks a clear line in the sand, a before and
after point in time for CSC.'"
-- "Claire has been a tireless advocate of Social Business Software
within her organization and within the greater Enterprise 2.0
community. She is very deserving of this accolade," said Dave Hersh,
CEO of Jive Software. "I speak for all of Jive in congratulating
Claire on being recognized by her peers to receive the Internal
Evangelist of the Year award. She has set an example of what Social
Business Software can accomplish within large enterprise settings, and
she continues to help guide Jive on expanding that vision through
future innovation."
